Wrong thread I guess ? You might've wanted the LS/V8 swap to post that.

Just a quick update,
Project is still 100% on, just awaiting some electronics to be finalized. We know all the normal parts are no big deal (intercooler, driveshaft, etc) so we want to get the hard stuff done first. Most swaps get 95% completed and then spend months on wiring and making things work, etc. We are approaching it differently because we know the hardware works, we want to see real software. The plan is to have a, dare I say the words... Plug and Play Solution. I won't get any hopes up or hype anything up until we test it, but just in case you were losing interest in the project, know that we plan to have a no BS wiring solution for everyone. Stay Tuned! |

true^ i had my 2jz single turbo swap done in 4 months waiting on parts and work took alot of my time.. wireing took a month alone but none the less it was worth it.. i have 6k in my full swap its really not that bad if you can catch a good deal on motor trans combo .

what's weird is from all my reading it seemed that the LS swap was going to be far easier to reach that "plug and play" status but it seems that the wiring has really been bothersome even for the ones I know that have done it successfully.
I always thought the 2JZ was harder to account for "physical dimensions wise" but obviously it has been a popular choice and done many times so far, for many different reasons. This is an arms race I can enjoy =] keep up the good work! |

lol... well... in about a year or less I will be ready to pull the trigger if you guys get a package together. I think I could wait if the kit was clean enough. I know how a lot of builds go (they work but nowhere near daily driver reliability). And that's not what I'm wanting out of this at least. |
