No, I bought a mustang a few weeks ago for 22,999 and now I kinda still want the FR-S. The "trade in value" for the mustang is 24,500...

So I'm thinking that if I go in and try to haggle on my trade in I might end up making 1,500 on owning a car for a month. But that's crazy talk, because I just bought a goddamn car.

But if I can actually make money on the trade-in...

Rabble - Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread! I was just stuck in usual jackassery mode!

But yeah! Do it! This is coming from an outside observer without any attachment to that Mustang, so, much easier for me to say. But I've been in a similar situation - having bought a Saturn Sky back when they were hard to come by and was able to get more than MSRP (which I paid) for it when I sold it after a few months (I hated it). You could potentially go from Mustang to BRZ/FRS, and if you really don't like it, get rid of it. Worst case scenario, I'd say, is you get back close to MSRP for it. Best case scenario, these cars become a hot commodity and you make yet more money on the deal.

Yeah, I'm still going to test drive the FR-S. I doubt I'll end up buying it though, unless it's able to absolutely blow me away.

Yeah I'll be there around noon to check it out. I'd really like to sit in it, but I guess I'll have to bribe lux for that after he takes delivery.

yeah the austin car show will have a BRZ that's why I want to crash it with the FRS.

haven't been to the forum in a few days, got some personal stuff going on, if i were to leave the car at Champion for some extra days as a floor show car (only for looking and sitting in), would anyone be interested?
