Wheels and tires help

I'm looking into the ssr gtv03

I'm looking at running 300 whp with a vortech kit so I'm not sure how wide to go. No wheel poke and the wheel must be flush with the edge of the wheel-well. I was hoping to keep the speedometer as accurate as possible.

As for tires occasional track use but mostly DD. I have dedicated winter tires.

Well, you only have 18x8.5 as an option in 5x100, and 17's are too narrow... have any other wheels in mind?

will do. If you have a moment I want to have a discussion with you about tires, wheels, and your ideal suspension modifications. Let me start with the wheels and tires. I'm looking at the Enkei Raijin wheels but I'm not sure what what offset, width, etc to go with. As for tires, this setup will be for track and street use. I do have dedicated winter tires. Running Vortech Kit.

(prefer no poke, no spacers, and keeping the speedometer reading as accurate as possible)

Ideal is subjective. What kind of experience do you have? How much power are you making? What kind of roads do you drive on and what tracks? What is your tolerance for ride quality and budget?

I only have hpde experience and hopefully be making 300whp once my tune is finish. Generally out roads are average as far as the u.s goes. I'm not too concerned about rid quality as long as I get the best handling possible. Budget is not a concern but I don't want to spend a huge amount of money.

Have an exact budget? If it is around 1500, may I recommend the perfect wheels for this car!! Gram Lights 57xtremes! They come in 17x9s. Also, Weds tc105n is also an option and they are pretty light! Those should be plenty wide for the tires you will be getting.

How about Koni inserts with sportline springs? And what do you recommend for tires with those wheel. Width, wheels size, offset? How about kW coilovers? I would think the Koni inserts would be very good.

How about for the enkai raijin? 255 seems to be awful big for a square setup I don't even think they will fit. How about those sportline lines with Koni inserts or the kW v3?

It'll fit with coilovers.

You're comparing a Jetta to a Cayman.
