If you are expecting a MKIV supra with updated styling you are probably going to be disappointed.

I think it will be a great driver's car, but in it's own right. I don't think Toyota is going to pull a Honda in regards to the new NSX.

well I guess technically... actually hmm I've been having mixed feelings too. Like for some reason the Z5 might be the better buy...don't know how I'm feeling about the BMW interior either, it's I like it but I don't..... but I do.

I guess what I want isn't going to exist which is like a Supra targa or convertible that's solidly built.

More wait time for us, on these two cars.

To be honest, My opinions on Hybrids have been changed since I drove the LC Hybrid recently on a mountain in upstate NYC. It blew my mind how good that stupid thing was although it's got some weird lower 4 gears in Automatic and the upper is a CVT. The Chassis power delivery and presentation was so good. If the New Supra is anything like or is better than the LC It's gonna be a hell of a Hybrid.

I am an old guy. I like my sports car simple and raw.

The Supra looks like it is going to be too complicated, too expensive, too idiot proof and too refined for my taste.

I am not part of the target market and would not be buying one anyway but I am losing interest in it as the rebirth of a Japanese performance icon.

supposedly we are getting 3 different trim levels. a 4 cylinder turbo, 6 cylinder turbo, and a hybrid of some form.

lol yeah we're getting many trims and let's not forget the BMW trims too prolly gives you more options.

Nothing Wrong with people being old fashion people still ride horses, some people have flying cars

I'm right in the middle tbh, I want it to be refined enough where it's worth my money. I guess I want to perform and be as refined as for what I pay for it. For example, I'm totally not surprised with what I'm getting in the BRZ, I expect something 25K to be just like this.

At the same time I like old fashion cars, from my childhood or teenage years, it's why I keep one car that's modern and one that's 15 years older.

I'm slowly accepting Hybrids and embracing electric cars.

Win win

Those wheels in the first pic on the supposed 4 Banger are awesome. Wish they were the stock 86 rims.

I've never had an issue with alternative fuel cars.

My issue is with the infrastructure.

When I can get in my Tesla and drive any direction I want and go as far as I want with a realistic expectation of getting there with no worries about fueling (and no preplanning required), and a fueling stop taking no longer then it would take me to start the process, go in the store, go to the bathroom, buy a drink and some fudge-striped cookies or a bag of Cheetos and get back out to the car, my vehicle can run on whatever works.

Also, I'm not going to own a "around home" car and a "long distance" car, nor am I going to rent a car when I need to go somewhere I could drive to. Every one of my vehicles have to be able to do those basic things.

Based on the latest spy shots it appears to be a 2 seater.
