Another thing.....does the fa20 tune offer some or all of the racerom features? I'd love to have that downshift throttle blip feature.

Hey Microsoft, long time no see!

You could try the overseas tunes but be aware that their petrol has different qualities to what we have locally ie. different knock properties etc.

If you were in Perth I'd recommend STechnic, in Melbourne I'm not sure whom does it.

Shouldn't really be an issue since u can send data logs to these overseas tuners to fine tune your maps to local conditions and local fuel.

Dyno Tune in Perth Western Austalia

My 86 arrives at the end of August and I'm thinking about fitting a HKS Super Charger along with the rest of the bits & pieces ( Pipes, Plugs etc ) the only problem I'm having is that I can't find anywhere in Perth that seems able to tune it.

I'm not willing to fit these parts to my car without a proper tune being available to me.

Does anybody know if or where I can tune my car in Perth Western Australia ?

Could Formula Tech do it? I know they do Walkinshaw gear for hillbilly cars.
Or maybe Tokyo workshop - they are evo specialists.

Guys for Sydney if you want to avoid the ECUTEK locked in route then I had my race car done at http://insightmotorsports.com.au
They are at Arndel Park near Eastern Creek, top work. I won't go into my RWKW but they upped my RPM limit and made the throttle more responsive.
I paid for mine so this is not a commercial for a sponsor.. merely a recommendation based on my experience and performance gain.

Hi 000. What are they using to do the tuning?
Also Ecutek doesn't seem to be as locked down as it used to be. Mrt seem to be making things harder than it had to be however. When you get an ecutek tune from visconti you get the new map and the stock map. You can flash between them as much as you like. If you flash back to stock the dealer has no idea and can flash themselves if necessary. You grab the updated firmware the dealer provides with its updates and visconti rolls your tune up into it and sends you a new tune. Mrt have the monopoly when dyno tuning here in Australia bit that is not the fault of ecutek the system but ecutek the business. Anyway. Morpower or something like that in wa has tuned the avo kit running e85 over there from memory

What about kido racing tunes? anyone tried them yet? Apparently $400 only....guessing it's just flash tune not dyno tune....but I reckon still good value since it's not locked and no need to pay license like ecutek

Why won't you go into your rear wheel kws? Does it keep you faster if others don't know????
Isnt the power it has, the power it has?

Hi Guys,

I am interested in getting a FA20club tune soon as I will have aftermarket intake and headerback exhaust. I did an enquiry with them but they dont ship the software and cable to Australia.

Has anyone taken this route? Where did you source the software and cable from?

Thanks in advance.
