That's like saying you can't accidentally shoot yourself because of the safety switch...

The physical motion of going into 1st and R is identical except for pulling up the gate lock, and it did happen to a few members in this thread apparently.

Not related to my FR-S but I managed to destroy my 10 day old HTC One which insurance won't cover since I purchased it at full retail price outside of T-Mobile, not only that, my LG Nexus 4 now has a shattered LCD after replacing $100 worth of parts already. So now here I am back on my old Samsung Galaxy Nexus debating whether or not to eat the $1,100 worth of phones or spend an extra $100 to get my Nexus 4 back up and running.

Not today but about a moth or two ago jumped the car about 3 feet on a back road at night. Couldn't slow it quick enough. Nothing happened just sheared the tow hook and scratched the shit out of the bottom of my front bumper. Fairly embarrassing.

Most trolley jacks are very short and narrow and light duty with tiny wheels and the handle has to be removed and re-positioned to lower the jack.

A floor jack will be longer and wider and has larger and wider wheels. They are much more stable. The handle can be removed but generally the handle stays in the jack and it is twisted to lower it. A good floor jack will roll or turn a little to account for vehicle shift as it raises but a trolley jack will usually just tip over because the wheels suck and the jack is too narrow.

Aha. A VAG product! That'll do it. Eesh. A friend had a Passat that froze its brakes in hot weather here...

I never had an issue with my B6 but I never used the e-brake! That's one car I never had an issue parking exclusively in gear.

Did the same thing but on a parking curb. You cant see it, but I feel like I should know better It's hard coming to accept ground clearance when I just had a truck for 5 years.
