What a lovely day out on the asphalt. My car said 104. And it was humid. A/C only wanted to push vaguely cool air, nothing cold. We had a random pop-up thunderstorm drop by as we were cleaning up though. KrakBOOM. SPLASH. buh-bye.

So much to re-learn about driving though.

You might need a new hub depending on which metal bit gave up at the press fit.

Also, these aren't open ended nuts are they?

Any way you could just take the whole hub off with the wheel attached? If you've got time to do it you should be able to avoid having to tow the car.

Yes, it’s open end lugnuts.

Wait, you can take off hub without taking off the wheel?!?!?!?! WTF! If that can be done, it’ll save me shit ton of money.

Edit: it’s prob impossible to take it off, cuz rotor will get in the way

I currently have no internet at home. My AT&T service went out again Friday morning for about the 6th time in about 4 months since they "upgraded" our house to fiber optic line. I call there tech line after work Friday and they ping my modem and determine the modem is bad and they can't bring me one till Monday. I tell them just to cancel all service.

I have Comcast coming out tomorrow. Hope we have better luck.

Comcast is okay around my area... well more like I don't have much option for internet service. I think I have 2 internet options to choose from and Comcast is better than other one.

I think the old-timer relative of my apartment manager who lives in the building doesn't like my cold starts, which aren't even that loud, because this morning as I started the car he was in back where I park raking some leaves. I got out for a sec and he walked over and gave me a "talking to" about how you're supposed to go driving as soon as you start a car, blah blah blah, is this in your car manual, etc.

Theoretically it does reduce wear as it heats your oil up quicker. Sounds like he was trying to give you advice, but wasn't really sure how to approach it lol. Maybe he thought you were "waiting for it to warm up".

We really only have 3 options. AT&T was fine until the "upgrade". I don't want a dish on the house, so that leaves Comcast.

Did you get your lugs fixed?

Correction, there was 3 options fiber is 3rd option... but sadly I live in townhouse, so that's not an option.

As for the lugnuts problem, I'm getting it towed Wednesday. I've bought new studs and lugnut. All I'm praying now is I don't have to buy new hubs. I don't want to spend more than as is... but to fix it correctly, I gotta pay.

Also to add, I've been talking with ARP Engineer and he said, never use Muteki lugs, cuz due to theyre not threaded all the way thru and they bind where the knurled reduced area. So lesson learned. Never buy Muteki for me.
