I've been running my Bayson R for over a year now, and it looks the same as it did the day I put it on. I don't remember if it had any scratches on the bottom, but the top looks fine. I just put it on without painting it or anything.

I got mine used for like $50... it was too cheap for me to even check how it is. I just put it on and I think it's still there. hahaha

Sorry to necro this thread, but for you who dipped these front lips, did it hold ?
I'm asking because last weekend I cracked my STi-lip while parking (yeah I know) and these flexible PU lips caught my attention.
Seeing that they deliver it with imperfections quite often I thought I'd just dip them.

Thanks in advance for your input.
Appreciate it !

Lips can take a lot of abuse that dips just are not up to withstanding so the coating only lasts for so long. The good news is that it is really easy to just peal it off when it gets bad and do it all over again.

OK, I already figured so. Re-dipping it after a while won't be an issue for me. I'm just attracted to the flexibility to cope with steep driveways etc.

It would certainly help. I have somehow managed to punch a hole right straight through the underbody pan below the rad. Still have no clue when or how.

I hit a cone at ~45mph with mine.
Cracked my bumper and lip but the dip was fine...
Except for right on the crack, obviously.

I didn't even coat mine, and I think it looked fine. Last time I dipped my lip, it only lasted a few months.
