OFT maps for FI

Just wondering what is out there currently for ots maps for those with fi.? I would really like to support shiv and all the work he had done for us that have purchased the OFT platform. But I'm now looking into a kraftwerks supercharger or an avo turbo. Every tuner around here will only use ecutek even though they both use romraider they have told me ecutek or find someone else to do it.

Only FI supported by OFT at the moment is the SBD turbo setup. Shiv has stated that he's willing to create maps for other FI setups, but he needs someone to stop by the shop so that he can get it on the dyno to create them.

I ran the OFT300 with a vortech kit, worked very very well. The only reason I'm switching away from OFT soon is I swapped in a smaller pulley, changed injectors, and plan to run flex fuel.

May I ask why you can't have a tuner use the OFT?

I talked to a tuner here... Even though ecutek and oft use romraider... They said they would charge more to use oft. Sounds bull$hit to me, but I can't tune and he can... So I lose.

The only reason I see is that he is planning on going flex fuel

With Ecutek you can try 4 different variations of a map per flash where OFT is one map per flash. So it would take a tuner longer to tune with OFT than Ecutek.

As someone else mentioned yes mainly the FF and the ability to toggle maps. I flash a lot trying things myself and the 7 minutes to flash each time is rather annoying. While it was indeed very easy to use I'm going for a more powerful platform.

Agreed if you want flex fuel support its likely ecutek is only current option

If you want faster flashing use Tactrix aprox 90 sec for me.

Same, the KW kit appeals to me a lot so I'm just waiting for Shiv to release a tune. I find the OFT much easier to use than ECUTEC for those of us who are electronically challenged.

I like th KW kit too bu JR has a lot less negative comments and issues. Hopefully KW sorts theirs all out by the time I buy.

Its funny when you hear people want openflash over ecutek. If you buy racerom you can tune your own car. Costs more yes and you shouldnt tune your car unless you know what your doing. Leave that for a tuner. Just bare in mind how new openflash is for boost. Just saying
