Same question. I have tc105n +35 17x9 and currently running 245s. Eibach prokit springs front camber bolts and rear LCAs. Dreaming of 265 or 275 when these tires are dead. At least 255s.

honestly a 255 would probably be best. its more than enough tire.

265 would also fit but depending on tire brand, but it would bulge probably.

contact patch doesn't only have to do with a bigger width tread btw...so don't get caught up in tire sizes, anything 255+ is pretty significant IMO.

you're on stock struts in the front...dont really know how much clearance you will have with a 255, or a 265....in the rear you will be fine, but idk about the front.

Hi,

I am currently on 255/35 18 rear but I'm still rubbing during hard cornering. I read in the earlier threads that it's rubbing on some plastic inside the fender. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Should I add more camber? Currently on 2 deg rear.

Extra information just in case, swift springs on koni yellows, goodyear eagle F1 asym, cusco LCA, TE37SL 18X8.5 45 wheel

Be careful, the stock spring perch is pretty dang close.

Here is a photo with 245/40 tires when I was running RCE Yellows with 17x9 +35

You might need more than rear LCAs to get it to stop rubbing.
Do you know where you're rubbing? I'm going to assume you're rubbing on the rear bumper tabs.. If that's the case, the width of the tire isn't your only problem, it's the ratio as well. At 35% that's a tall tire. I had 265/35 and they would constantly rub that bumper tab.. I'm not very low either, and I was at the stiffest setting when I ran those. It's going to be a big pull to fit those to where it won't rub.. I've tried lol

I've got the same wheels but with 255/35/18 tyres.

They just rub at absolute full lock.

I was thinking of going 265/35/18 at next tyre change. Do yours rub at full lock?

Your pics seem to have disappeared. Are you able to load again?

Do your 265 tyres rub at full lock?

It does rub a lot at full lock, but I am rarely fully locking my wheels. I don't mind because the grip is spectacular and the meaty set-up looks great.
