Don't expect them until sometime 2016.
Unfortunately the manufacturer has a backlog of orders and it delays when they will be produced. Everyone has to wait in line and any delays sets the rest back.
If things speed up then maybe we see them earlier but I would just sit tight until next year.
So does this mean they're now fully compliant with DOT?

I wouldnt say to stop buying the current version just now as its still up in the air to when these new ones will be released. 2016 is just the current date and they want them out asap but it could be early 2016, it could be mid or late 2016. Just depends on production time frame.

Compliancy was never the issue, its simply production backlog. Rough example but the company that is making them has to also make a bunch of other products for other companies and if theres a delay making product A then products B,C,D etc get pushed back and this is whats happening. Valenti wanted these out already but delays keep getting them pushed back. Im not savvy on when compliancy tests are done in the production stages but I would say its done pretty early so as to get them released with all relevant paper work done already.

The compliancy topic is believe is actually related to the headlights. The new headlights are only E-marked currently and not DOT compliant. They wanted them to be DOT compliant but there was also delays in production. By the time the headlights were released they just went ahead with E-mark as their main market is Japan and their rules only require E-mark. They are working on DOT compliancy for the headlights in the near future.

Thanks for the clarification!

I don't understand why Valenti, despite the fact that these and previous gen taillights looks amazing, is not making the stop light bigger. That was the key factor for me in not purchasing the previous gen. The turn indicators look great but way to big compared with the brakes. Can't they balance those out? or make them brighter...or swap them... Not sure if that is also a legislation.

The brake lights are larger and (much)brighter than the turn signals on the original lights.

If anyone ever said "I couldn't see his brake lights!" they're 100% blind cause you could see them with your eyes closed...

really? I've really never seen one up close, but videos suggested that the individual led's on the brake lights are less brighter and less visible than running and perhaps the same brightness as turn signals.

Anyways I'm probably finding stupid reasons to avoid spending money, but I'm in Michigan and winter is long and many stupid careless drivers out there. I'm for this reason always been hesitant to buy these even though I love its looks.

Everyone who has a Valenti, apart from making the car look better, are modding 3rd brake, 4th brake lights. This always suggested to me that brake lights on Valenti's were insufficient..another reason for them to buy 3rd brakes...

Damn, how'd I miss replying to you?! Yes, really, they're much brighter than the turn signals, and yes they're much brighter than the light bar. Lights sources don't work well on video because of the automatic exposure. You really have to see them in person to see just how insanely bright they are.
