stock rims painted?

Sup everybody. I'm new to the forum and to owning the car really. My question is has any one themselves or know of anyone who has painted the stock rims? I'd like to explore that before buying new rims and tires.

Powder coat costs a lot more but will last forever (yep after the zombie apocalypses your rims will still look great) where as the dip looks great at first but takes a beating pretty quick.

Try plastidip first, you can try out different colors. This is black with gold metallizer.
PSA: the metallizer has a different spray tip that sprays WAAAY more at a time than the matte colors. I only did one gold coat....

Lol sorry no offense intended but your sentence structure made me think of Rick, from "Rick and Morty"... e.g. the first few seconds of this video:

I understand your new and all

BUT

this thread is in the wrong section.
Please search before you post.
Take some time to actually learn the forum and different sections it has.

There is a nifty section called Wheels | Tires | Spacers | Hub that has dozens of threads and hundreds of posts about painting the stock wheels.

the dip looks great for a short period of time, then it looks like crap, i used a semi flat paint on mine, they've held up this summer so far damn well, from now on they are only going to be winter wheels though, so who cares!
