Paint color...

Isn't this the same paint color Subaru was using on their BRZ "Sport Pkg Concept" model at the Tokyo Auto Salon? (except they had blue lighting for their display which made the paint color look more blue'ish)

Nice catch; I've been thinking the same. FHI would've started pilot runs months before any new paint reaches production. This might be one of the guinea pigs. I've seen some crazy paints experimentally applied to pilot vehicles when I worked at a Toyota manufacturing plant.

Yup I think you're right! Now that BRZ color doesn't seem so special. :/

No way. Scion knows what people really want: a solar-charged shift knob and glowing blue Scion logos everywhere.

We here in the US scoff at such 'cheeze', but elsewhere in the world, someone will probably be on a murderous rampage to get one of these. They may even camp out a few weeks ahead at a dealership just to put the deposit and/or down payment .

One man's rice is another man's filet mignon.

Actually I think it looks pretty awesome. The shift knob is interesting and the light up scion logo in the interior just lights up while you open the car, goes away after 20 seconds, not too bad. Now the light up badges... They grew on me, it looks OK with the color combination. However, it only looks ok if they light up only while parked. I would feel totally ridiculous driving around with that logo lighted up. If so, its as easy as disconecting the cable.

I for one am glad I waited and will jump on this as soon as its out! Hopefully fiveaxis will be able to colormatch its kit
