Interesting video I just found randomly on Facebook... Kind of correlates to a lot of stuff that has been discussed about in this thread. However, the depression of the piston rod in relation of the floating piston not moving seemed a little odd. I guess the amount of nitrogen pressure charged could change that?

The piston rod going into the body is what is making the divider move, because the volume is changing. So it doesn't really matter what the gas charge is, it will move the same amount.
Doing a little math, a 46mm shock with a 22mm piston rod will move the divider 0.22" for ever 1" of travel. Last edited by jamal; 03-03-2017 at 06:44 PM. |
