Food!

Today I took a pita, cut it in half, stuck the halves inside each other. Put some mayo and onions inside. Filled it with chopped grilled chicken and shredded cheese. Toasted it, and topped it off with more fresh onions.

Man, it was good.

What was the best thing you've eaten recently? (Preferably homemade, so we can make it too!)

The best thing I have made recently are couple of sensors for my elevator project.

I took a IR sensor, Photo Transistor, couple of resistors, NPN and a LED to make a circuit. Where If i interrupt the beam of light emitting from the IR to the PT, the output will be a LOW '0'.

Applications where this is useful:

parking garage so if someone trying to break into your garage to get to your car, you can use these sensors to set off an alarm ( silent one is preferable)

My elevator: So i can use it to sense what floor my car is on

just a couple of hours ago I made some soup.

Hot pan. Olive oil threw in carrots and onions. Cooked for 5 minutes until they started to get soft. Threw in Italian tomatos canned chopped with vegetable stock. Simmered for 10 minutes. Tossed in peas and a handful of basil with tortelini stuffed with cheese. salt and pepper. A splash of tobasco for a kick and freshly grated parmesan cheese after its been served in a bowl.

I cook just about every day. This was a nice dish since its been so cold lately.

its super cheap and easy ^_^

Did you eat it?

I'm just kidding, this is awesome. I don't think I have the skill nor patience to do something like this!

I took a huge giant spoonful of Nutella and spread it on a piece of bread. I then proceeded to get into my car and drive to work while eating said delicious Nutella.
BOOM! Food AND Automotive!

You can thank me later for saving this thread and getting it on topic so that it is now in the correct section of the board.

Oooohh, good thinking!!!

Thread is now "Doing Automotive things and eating Food for Nourishment so that You May Continue Doing the Automotive Thing You were Doing!"

I have found that Burritos are easy to eat while turning a spanner (Def. too much Wheeler Dealers). Although, I am yet to find a good food to eat while washing a car...Any ideas?

I think it depends on the burrito. Freebirds or Chipotle are gonna be a handful, those things are just monsters. I've found that the snack wraps from McDonals are pretty reliable driving food. I have a feeling that I'll refrain from eating in the BRZ, but in my current car snack wraps are all the rage.
