How much is the thermostatic oil cooler by itself?
Is this the oil cooler I should get or something else?
Should I also install a catch can?

Right now I'm running 5w30 Motul 300V oil. Can I still run this with the cooler or should I go back to 0w20?
Given your weather, you can probably run 0W20 as long as you run a top shelf synthetic like 300V and the Jackson Racing oil cooler.

The oil cooler has a MSRP $695.

Let us know when you're ready.

The Jackson oil cooler is a really really good option. I really like theirs, perrin's and look out for ptuning's baller ass oil cooler soon.

Catch can is debatable for some people. Not sure the variables behind it, but I think I need one (maybe not, I dunno). I've had one on my brz since I bought in 12. Here's how my catch (harbor freight $10) looks after about 600 miles and an autox event.

I used some black engine paint on mine. Just make sure you get the proper inside diameter hoses. I'll eventually get a Saikou michi, but this does the job in the mean time.

Is it normal for the supercharger pulley and belt to be paper thin clearance from the timing cover or block.

It's never gonna touch

Yes it's tight enough that you cannot pull off the belt without taking off the SC pulley or the SC from the bracket.

So...been reading through this thread, and I saw posts earlier about a group buy for the AiM Sports DL datalogger.

Did that group buy ever happen?

I would like in if it is still viable or in the works.

Is anyone using the Crawford AOS? Do I vent the hose that used to go to the intake or does it go somewhere else?

I have been creeping hardcore on these forums and waiting for someone to post some pulls and run videos of their Jackson SC. I have found some on YouTube but they werent very impressive(looking atleast) I have watched vortech videos and it seems like the car pulls harder and blah blah. It is a lot about the perspective that the camera is shooting.

TL;DR : Pls post in-cabin videos and lots of them

Not sure how your Crawford aos works, but I do know there are two locations you could run your aos:
*The breather hose that runs back to the intake tube that doesn't usually get much oil in the lines.
*The pcv line that runs from the crankcase that catches majority of the nasty shit.

I'm a little confused if you have a vented catch can, or a regular old air oil separator. @Dezoris had a really really awesome install of his radium catch cans. See if you could find his diy. It'll be really helpful.
