Flex fuel kit and Tomei header tuned by DT?

Anyone running this combo? Please share your experience. I’m running Tomei EL with OpenFlash stage 2+ cookie cutter tune. Not really happy about the performance and deivavility after the tune.

Probably delicious tuning. I see them selling also some OFT flexfuel kits, so maybe they also do some OFT tuning (previously i got impression them being ecutek only shop)

Still, i'd first try working together with DT, before bringing out any issues in forum.

What specific issues are you having? I've been running these tunes successfully with my car both on the street and on track.

I have to warm up the car for a long time each morning, like over 5 mins. If I don’t, the rpm would jump when I shift it into gear, although it comes right back down to normal after a second. Also I’m just not satisfied with the performance overall, it’s like the only difference after I did the tomei header with OFT tune are the extra sound from the header with no performance gain whatsoever. I didn’t do any dyno so this is all based on my driving experience.

Performance gains on headers is small. Your performance comes from the tune. Did you retune after the headers?

I got the OpenFlash Stage2+ tune after the header. Supposedly that’s the OFT tune for all catless headers.

Did Delicious tune your car on OFT? I've been using them for over 5 years w ECUTEK both NA and FI and the tunes have been great. Looking here it seems they offer hardware, but not a tune? https://www.delicioustuning.com/OFT-FlexFuel

Well there is your problem. That is a base tune now it is time to tweak it for your car. No 2 cars are the same!

Had the same problem, switched to Wayne's rom. I believe it has something to do with the MAF OFFSET AFTER START tables having to match.

If DT only sold you the parts then you should not complain about how the car runs. That is your job to tune out the problems. The cheapest is not always the least expensive.

I don't think he's not complaining about DT, he's asking about DT as an alternative for tuning because he's not happy with OFT.
