I had a similar issue (with different brakes/setup) and at least in my case, getting out to the pitlane with just half of a cooling lap (red flag mid lap) was most likely the issue.
Since then, I am doing at least one full cooling lap while trying to keep up the speed without using the brakes much. Out lap must also be progressive. Also, I've installed of couple of air ducts from 911 GT cars, very cheap and apparently quite effective (no issues since while using the same rotors/pads/setup). |
