Berk over-pipe & Front-pipe

I recently purchased a Skunk2 header. While installing the header I had a close inspection of the stock over-pipe, and I knew it had to go.

I decided on the berk overpipe because it matches the 2.5" outlet on my header & the inlet on the stock front pipe, the mandrel bends, the O2 bung for wideband use, and most of all the price.

I ordered it from @Mike@CZP who had phenominally quick shipping. I had the over-pipe in my hands within 72 hours of payment.

Welds are most likely machine, but probably the best machine welds I have seen. Fitment was spot on; there is no rubbing, clunking, or touching of anything anywhere, and even with my 22mm Strano front sway-bar there to make things tighter.

I painted the over-pipe with satin black high temp (1800*) paint, then wrapped it with thermal header wrap. (I don't want to hear your parrotted knowlege about wrap I've been using it for over 20 years w/o issue...)

The think it looks and -most importantly, fits great. The car was noticably louder, as you would expect from the increased flow rates through the over pipe. I am very happy w/ my purchase and I recomend it to anyone looking for an overpipe.

Pics to come.

That is coming. I have a custom cat-back exhaust. My vidoes have been made, but they need to be edited and uploaded. Once I get that done I will post them in my exhaust thread. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66864

I also bought a Berk catted Fornt-pipe.
As before I am blown away with the price & quality you can get from berk. I added a Vibrant resonator to the front pipe and my exhaust is just silky smooth. (pics of the resonator are on the way)

A little more detail on the FP, if you don't mind.

It looks like you got the Berk catless FP and then added a Vibrant resonator to the FP? Which Vibrant resonator did you buy? Also how much did everything cost?

Incorrect. The pictures are of the Berk Catted front-pipe. I posted a clear picture of the catalytic converter's substrate.
I did not post a picture of the resonator as it was added to the FP after it was already installed on the car.
I used Vibrant part number 1792. You either need a good exhaust shop, or the skills yourself to install it because there is very little room along the transmission with the larger 2.5" FP. I'll update the post one of these days with pictures of the installed resonator. I put it in basically the same location as the stock resonator on the stock FP.

Thanks. I thought I was looking at a cat on the Berk pipe, but when you said you added the resonator, I thought maybe my eyes and the post didn't match. Your explanation cleared all that up. Yes, please post a pic when/if you get a chance.

I love Berk Technology parts. I had a couple parts from them on my mr2(sw21 Gen2 3sgte swap) and they were on high quality. So I opted to get their frontpipe and muffler delete for my 86.
