not trying to be negative or anything, just giving criticism. Those fenders look like they were just cheaply "stuck" on. You honestly would've done better with the rocket bunny kit. Whatever you like though.

I like the fender look; the whole car looks nice save for missing center caps.

If you are going to the track (which?) I am wondering why you went with 9.5inches up front and 11inch steamrollers in back - it looks mean but that isnt a performance setup, you've got enough rubber for two cars.

Looks good. Reminds me of a TC. Also like the toyota badge on the trunk. Nice job.

Yeah, but for you, form over function. For the OP, this is a seriously confused build where the owner completely miscalculated the offsets and got some cheap, universal flares.

Edit: and he still has ricey looking poke

Congratulations on the finish. Personally I would have kept the trunk and spoiler all red and no flares/wide wheels and tires. One thing I'm curious of is the front bumper cover...is that just a stock one that's been worked over? I really like how that front bumper was done, any more details/pictures of the work done on it?

I wish these flares were cheaply stuck on, but they are bolted on using nutserts. As cheap as the flares may have been in cost, it does not reflect their quality, which is superb. JDMflares.com . Cool guy, easy to deal with.

And I've been a fan of Datsuns/old-school Japanese cars since I was a kid.

This is my manifestation.

Quarters are cut, welded/boxed. Front flares has to sit .5" higher than rear due to the fact they are made for a Datsun Z. I will drop the front a little, but will have to get camber plates to allow for clearance. I don't plan to go lower than that.

As for my "miscalculations", once I paid for the wheels (and was locked into a 50% refund contract) my rears were not available in the original offset I wanted, had to go 10mm closer to the chassis (from -16 to -6).

Tires are technically supposed to be 245/35 up front and 285/30 in the back. I have 245/40's up front and 285/35's in the back.

Don't care for spacers, so no corrections.

Which tracks, Watkins Glen is close, Limerock, and Stafford Motorway couple times a year. Other than that, I will Autocross locally on Sunday mornings.

Front lower rail extension (behind front tires) also boxed to allow for full lock capabilities.

I'm happy with the look, which was my goal. this is my daily and I don't want to go crazy low. Also, Rocket Bunny is nice, but this was my plan from the get go.

Still have to add canards, rocker extensions, and finish up rear cover trim.

If you like it, cool, if you don't, that's completely understandable: it was meant to make me happy at the end of the day.

I don't mind criticism of hate, it's part of this world.

Ok, so point one, you still bought flares that don't actually properly fit the car, and you modified neither component (car, or flare) to fit them as you wanted to. What's the point of that? If I was hacking up my fenders, I'd be doing it right once.

Why would you want a -16 offset in the rear, when your flares are barely over top of the -6? If you went with a 18x11 or even 18x12 in a +15 to +25, you could have a bigger wheel that actually fits under the fender. This is even more pronounced in the front. It's crazy that you went with a +5 and only went 9.5 inches. Could have done a 10.5 or 11 with a +10 to +25.

Not sure what you mean with the tire size comment, does that mean you ordered the wrong tire sizes as well?

Sorry for such an overly negative post, but just trying to wrap my head around why you'd go through the trouble of ordering poorly sized and fitting wheels just as an excuse to stick cheap looking flares onto the car. I get that you love the Z, but there's plenty of other widebody solutions for this platform that you wouldn't have to compromise on.
