jorgerendonjr: can you tell if there were any compatibility issues worth knowing about on retrofitting MY2017 steering wheel with extra headunit controls? Some wiring changes? Does it work with old headunits? How much new steering wheel set did cost/PNs/place to buy/any installation or DIY thread?

I was expecting engine conversion in the Engine and transmission section.
is that what you have done? or is it all electronic and cosmetic?

The lights man that was tough. We did it and EVERYTHING worked!

Just out of curiosity, is the reverse of this project true as well? FR-S bumper on 17+ 86? Also just plug and play (minus the turn signals)?

Gearbanger: you don't want to try to retrofit VSC controller from MY2017?

. Kouki's "track mode" SC is what i'd wish most to be able to retrofit to my zenki .. would love someone to succeed and have some nfo to share for DIY retrofitting of it.

I thought the 2017 tails were Plug N Play? Hmm.. I guess not. Bummer. I wanted to purchase 2017's and install them for on my 2014.

The should be pretty much PnP. Might need repinning or a LED flasher relay, but might not. Not sure if the US models changed wiring for the MY17.

Hey guys and girls. i had to revive this thread for a min if possible... i want to do the same conversion however all i want is just the front end of the 86. is it as easy as swap over and done ? i couldnt imagine it being that much more difficult? how about with fog lights? shouldnt they just link up ? any advice would be great.
