There's much debate on what works and not, but internet "wisdom" points to the yearly oil spray as "best". The electronic stuff boat uses don't work because the car isn't submerged in water, and the thicker stuff might clog drainage holes.

*Notice how I keep using might. It's all hear-say but just somewhere for you to start I guess.*

Oh for oil sprays and other "self creeping" sprays like wax based stuff, do it when it's blazing hot, or August basically. The heat helps it spread.

Downsides: Skip the spray if you enjoy a squeeky clean engine bay, door edges etc... Some professional shops also drill a hole in the door to spray the inside panel then seal it up with a plastic plug. I know many people hate that. They also drip everywhere as I mentioned before.

http://www.krown.com/ <<< To see the sales pitch.

Or you could just find an automatic car wash that has a underbody spray jet thing and get a season pass to go weekly or something if you have such things where you live.

GL with your Mazda, the one I had needed a coil pack every 6-ish months
I have heard some pretty mixed things about these piles. One of the reasons I bought it new, if its solid for three years I will keep it. If not its going to get dumped.

I will check out the Krown spray, thats for the heads up.
My buddy had a MSP and had no issues with it aside from suspension and rust after 150k but others with Mazda6 or Speed6 were nightmares.

Just a crap shoot I assume.

I cant even count how many times its been re-edited. Because its one thing when you drive them back to back, another thing when you put the on the road together and see some of the things you thought made sense didn't.

Great review, I'm glad you graded the FRS/BRZ/GT86 or whatever not only on what is presented in its stock form but what it can do with some aftermarket parts.

I can't wait to read that. Considering a set of Ohlins for my S2000.

Ohlins are actually affordable for S2000 mainly because you don't have the monster strut housing and adjustable top plates.

Love the comparison, and yes... giving the FR-S the same WHP as the S2000 makes it night and day. Mine has almost all the N/A mods available and its night and day compared to stock... it pulls nicely on every gear.
