I'm a little disappointed in myself for not taking work-in-progress pics but I completely disassembled my oven door to clean all four glass panes. I'm old enough to remember a time when there were no windows on oven doors.

I suggest we go back to that.

I had to replace mine. The old one was too beat up. It's an oversized one too.

So your taking The entire house appart?

I have double ovens, and they are not self cleaning. That is reason enough to replace.

tempered glass makes me nervous.

my aunt always used the self-cleaning feature on her oven like i twas no big deal. then one day the glass exploded... it's like a bomb going off, and all it takes is an imperceptible nick in the surface...

Took advantage of the light traffic to go back to the old house and pick up a bunch of stuff, most of it very flammable (gasoline, propane, etc).

How far away is your old house?

Did your counteroffer get accepted?
