New Tires HELP!
Hello ladies and gents, I am swapping out the OEM wheels, for some 18x8.5 with a +33 offset wheels. The fact of the matter is, I need new tires. I do not want to spend a whole lot on tires, but at the same time do not want to go super cheap. A happy medium if you will. Please list down below recommended tires. I do not track this car, but I want a sticky tire that I can full send my car on, around turns and stick to the ground. Thank you in advance!

I have no experience with these tires but the reviews are solid and I do plan on buying them eventually. I'm guessing because I'm not too familiar with the sizes for 18s, but I'd say a 245/35/18 should be nice and meaty on those wheels. If not that size, then this tire seems to be pretty widely available.

My personal experience with them was amazing. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...omCompare1=yes

There’s tons of info on this. Top two I’d recommend are Nitto Neo Gens and Indy 500s. There are those cheap Federal 595s but I’ve heard they have a lot of road noise which would be bad for daily driving.
I personally would not cheap out on tires. I would rather cheap out on wheels to get quality tires. They’re important not just for performance, but for safety as well. |

I would never skimp on tyres, brakes and disks.. 8.5inches of contact patch at each corner of the car is not much and far more risker on shittier tyres.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s are probably the cheapest tire that performs decently well.
If you've got the ching, Michelin PS4S. |

245/35/18 is a great size, I run it. But it costs way more. 225/40/18 indy 500 costs $118, a 245/35/18 indy 500 costs $188.
For someone on a budget, id suggest 225/40s.

Do these tires need to do late fall-winter-early spring duties?

Or go a touch wider. 255/35/18 indy 500 cost $138.50 on tire rack. and they'll fit the wheels fine.

IMO, a 255 is for a 9.5" wheel. Additionally, the 225/40 will fit better on 18x8.5 +33 wheels on OEM suspension (that I assume OP still has).

I had 255/35 on a 8.5 before, I felt it was pinched.
