Also, my girlfriend was gone for a week, and I drove her 2010 Corolla the whole time (since she didn't care, plus it wouldn't hurt to save a few dollars in gas when I'm just going to work and back), and it felt like I had a new car when I got back into my Evo. |

driving a slower car for awhile does help. All I am saying is if you even entertained trading it in then bone stock may have been getting a bit boring.
I know my stock MR was little underwhelming after awhile. The stock clutch kind of sucked at grabbing and stock tires were noisy. Not to mention the lousy gas milage and interior noise at speed. Most guys with even mildly tuned Evos have nothing but praise for them though. A few choice mods can make it feel like a new car too without compromising reliability much. Keep the Evo... pay it off and then buy a BRZ/FRS. I have both and switching from one to another you appreciate the different aspects of driving. Having a rwd NA (tail happy) car to a awd (boost/grip monster) nothing can replace those feelings.
