n00b question: I take it for current BRZ owners, if we wanted the increase in performance, we could just buy the STI parts and get the tune and be good to go?

I'm expecting new exhaust, higher reving engine, better tires, the aero pictured, and the price tag of 35-37k

That is, of course if it comes here

Awesome that the car is SWP! Gives me a better idea of how the STI bits look without only relying on my imagination.

I like the look of that wing from the angled shots, while a bit tall it looks to fit the overall look of the car to me.

Definitely hoping they opened up the redline a bit and fixed the torque dip, that'd be sick.

Nothing much to see here, just a GT wing and some STi bits that're already available.

I think you may be right about the need for more displacement.

Based on some earlier comments I heard out of Subaru, their stated goal was 250 hp normally aspirated. Higher lift/duration cams, stronger valve springs, and an 8500 rpm redline (and maybe revised intake manifold, tb, and exhaust) might be enough for 230-240 hp, but I can't see you getting too much more power out of a 2.0L production engine that lacks variable valve lift.

My guess is that Subaru will need to bump displacement to 2.2L to hit 250 hp NA.

No visiblie IC and no hood scoop, it aint no turbo in the engine
Maybe there are other mods under the hood. Why would there else be bigger brakes if no more power is added?

And i have a hard time seeing that rearwing being streetlegal, atleast here in Sweden.

I like how their LED DRL stays on even with their headlights on. Is that a JDM software feature?
