Need advise from the experts

Hey guys I'm new to the 86 department and needed some help!
I bought a GTS 86 2015 red color
I want to buy rims - black but what size shape?
Maybe make it growl more but not to loud?!
Do I lower it? If so what's the downside
And what is that sexy black skirt on the front
and sides I see on some of the monsters you guys have?

Any advise is good and appreciate it

The best way to go about this is to go into the build thread section of this forum and see what other people have already done. This forum is also so full of information all it takes is just a quick little small search and you can learn a lot. I do realize some jack-off might just comment on this thread saying search but I'm at least going to try and steer you in the right direction.

I want to buy rims - black but what size shape?
rims are always personal preference. Enkei rpf1's seem to be a common go to wheel for our cars as they are relatively inexpensive and come in a good size. Size will all depend on what you want to do.. street, track, autocross, daily?

Maybe make it growl more but not to loud?!
There is a lot of exhausts for our cars and it all depends on your budget. some of the more quieter exhausts are the invidia q300 and the 2.5 resonated perrin.

Do I lower it? If so what's the downside
lowering the car lowers the center of gravity but it also put your factory alignment out of spec. So, you will need to get an alignment when you do lower your car.

And what is that sexy black skirt on the front
I'm sorry but I don't know what you are talking about but there are many front lip kits for these cars a popular one is the TRD one.

and sides I see on some of the monsters you guys have?
again look at the build threads, lots of information and pictures there.

Alot of upgrades for these cars all depends on what you are trying to acheive and what your budget is.

1. This post sounds mildly pornographic.

2. Shape? Round. Size 17", 18" or 19", your choice

3. Growl? Get a muffler. Growl more? Get a midpipe. Growl even more? Get a frontpipe. More than that? Get a UEL header.

4. Do you lower it? Your choice. Downside is that you have less ground clearance causing you to scrape, less shock travel causing your suspension to not perform as well, and out of spec axle angles causing premature axle breakage.

5. The sexy black skirt on the front can either be a Splitter, Lip, Front or Bumper cover. If you search for all three, you'll find the difference.

6. The sides to go with #5 above are usually called "skirts". To see pics, there's a huge section on aero here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3505

7. Advice, do a lot of reading in the respective forum sections for each of your questions. You'll get more information that way by far.

Have fun.

Fair enough, but I didn't see myself as hostile when I made my post.

Just do your research on everything you can possibly do. There stickied threads which are at the top of every sub forum. Read through those
