I was honestly worried about the length of it before I put it on. It does look shorter than the stock one by a little bit. Although once I got under there and put it on. Fitment was perfect.

Yeah down under we aren't meant to touch anything to do with the cats. We can do exhaust work, however the police can be fairly strict on it. Although you have to be doing the wrong thing for them to pull you up on it.
It's illegal most everywhere. We do it anyways

Got all my suspension/drivetrain parts in for the new project. Installed the Perrin shifter bushing, Perrin mount insert, whiteline positive shifter bushing, rear differential bushings and steering rack bushings. Still have adj. lower control arms and modified BC coilovers to install before wheels and tires go on and get sent to the alignment in a couple days. Been a while since I've turned a wrench this enthusiastically. Starting to get excited about cars again!

P 3 Gage

I installed the P 3 gauge in my 86 over the weekend. I purchased mine with the gage already installed in the vent. It took about 15 min, I did not connect the boost sensor and wires yet. I will after my Jackson Racing super charger is installed later this year. On my way to work today. I was watching the Oil temp and Coolant temp. The oil on the freeway after about 5 miles, was 212,and the coolant was 185. My car is stock. except for the cat back exhaust and TRD air filter.
Thanks.
Ron

After switching from OEM trans fluid to Motul Gear 300, i had nothing but problems in the cold. Shifting was terrible, grinding, difficulty getting into gears and couldnt get consistent shifting, despite the number of people who had switched to it and had great success.

I installed a Whiteline Positive Shift bushing the other week, hoping that this may help. But it didnt. Today i put in Pentosin MTF2 and love it. Definitely not looking back now. Shifting is great when cold, and even better after 5 minutes of driving. Consistent shifting, no grinding.

So whatd i do to my 86 today? Fell back in love with it

Received the MCE knob covers and HURRAH, they fit over the carbon panel no problem. They're very thin, and fit very tightly. No need for double sided tape or glue. I really hate the OEM knobs so I'm very happy with the result.

I got Chinese ones just like them. When it got cold, they started skipping and I ended up using some tape fyi

Parked it pretty much off by itself last night, came back maybe 20 minutes later to find a twin who couldn't resist parking next to me.

I do this everywhere I go, ESPECIALLY if it's a BRZ to sit beside my 86
