X2 on this one. lol i dont get it you open the hood and the in take says subaru and toyota. The car may as well have been a toyta. as for all saying they wish they had a sun roof, i dont mis that feature at all nothing worse then the sun beaming down on you throught the open sunroof. the one thing i wish this car had was stereo controlls on the steering wheel. other then that ive loved this car sofar, its not as powerfull as my 350 rwhp jdm toyota markII but it weights less and has far more potential imo. |

I think exactly opposite of this. The car has more than enough power for me to handle on an Autocross course but I wish it had more power in town where I am spending less time turning and more time being annoyed by stoplights.

yup, my friend let me drive his BRZ before i bought my FRS. First time driving the car, and first time driving a RWD since high school (owned an STi for 3 years). I was only .2 seconds slower than him, and was beating STi's, wagons, etc.

Yup. Getting ~35mpg highway is one of the reasons I picked a BRZ over a WRX. It's a calm, civilized car if you drive it like one, and a screaming animal if you drive it like one. Low weight lets it ride fairly comfortably but still handle really well, the high-revving NA engine gives you good economy at low RPMs but still has power up high.

I hate that our cars dent so easily in hail.

For me, I find 2-4k rpm to be fine for daily driving, and 5k-7.4k enough power for when I really need to move.

Also, not sure how a CF roof would work, since the roof is welded to the rest of the body. |

As far as the cf roof, there have been two solutions I have seen. One is a cover and goes over the existing steel roof. The other is a replacement that requires the factory roof to be cut out. I verified with a bodywork person that it can be removed and replaced. A lot of work though for little weight loss. |

Flooring the throttle in 2nd gear above 40 mph or 3rd gear above 60 results in "good" acceleration. Nothing more, IMO.
