Comment from a non car person.

"I didn't know you had a car. Is that a Porsche?"

Nothing but good so far. A couple of weeks ago I had just parked in my driveway and an older italian guy was driving by on his bicycle and almost wiped out from stopping so abruptly. Then shouts at me and asks "IS THAT THE NEW SCION?" ... Yes... "AWESOME CAR MAN!". It was pretty funny.

Another time I was washing it and then wiping it down next to a guy drying his new civic who came over and asked a bunch of questions. It was the first time he saw one in person and was really impressed.

Overall just a lot of heads turned and thumbs up from guys and gals in BMWs, Camaros, Subies etc...

EDIT: I almost forgot about the one hater i've encountered after only a couple days of owning the car. I was cruising just below the speed limit and a guy in an F250 went into the parking lane beside me (there were no parked cars, just a bunch of gravel and small rocks) and flew by me spinning his tires and shooting rocks onto my car and almost side swiping me to avoid a parked car.... I catch up to him at the next lights and look over and he's laughing like a little schoolgirl. Needless to say I just gave him the dirtiest look and shook my head. He was probably in his 40's and I think it was more effective than anything, took the high-road on his immature ass. This was the cause of my first rock chips on my front bumper...

I think some people just don't realize how similar the BRZ and FR-S are... and then the people who just get fooled by the Scion badge even though it's more of a Toyota and Subaru than anything lol...

It's a niche car and the people who know this car LOVE this car. It's like when you get a thumbs up in a Supra Twin Turbo, e39 M5, the niche stuff...

Best ever was some older lady at work saying I didnt know Toyota sold Ferrari's.
I would have laughed so hard if that lady told me that. Love the tasteful mods on your car, that lip kit looks wicked.

In traffic, stop light to stop light, guy yelling questions through the windows immediately followed by "that's f'n BAD!" after every exchange.

Being paced on the highways all the time. Camera's out and weaving all over the place.

At the Toyota dealer getting some parts, come out and a guy asks be "who makes that car?" Its really nice! I reply Scion. (mine has Toyota badges). He then asks "Where can I get one?" I look over my left shoulder and point to 3 of them sitting on the lot.

I doubt he frowned lol

Everyone likes it. A lot of people don't know what it is, but I've gotten more compliments/questions/looks with this car than any of the other ones I've owned.

Had a 2012 si before. Now I know the difference between a genuine "It's a nice car" and a "It's a nice car" cause I'm your friend.

My FR-S is completely debadged, and nobody ever knows what it is. I always love watching people stare into their side mirrors at my car. All I can think is that they should probably watch the road lol.
And the other day I was at the dealership, and the salesman said that they should be ashamed to sell the FR-S' the way they look from factory. He really liked my painted stock wheels, black-housed headlights/signals and red tails haha.
