OFT - Noob Question

So i just grabbed my OFT (v1) from another member. I went on OFT's website and downloaded all of the tunes for my calibration.

Files looked like this:

Stg-1-v4.03-LC-FSS-ZA1JD00c.bin
Stg-2-v4.03-LC-FSS-ZA1JD00c.bin
Stg-2-Plus-v4.03-LC-FSS-ZA1JD00c.bin
Stg-2-Plus-E85-v4.03-LC-FSS-ZA1JD00c.bin

Questions!

1. None of these tune files mention what fuel grade they are for? Are they all assuming 91 octane?

2. I am in FL and use 93 octane. I went and download the "Master List" of tune files and found sub-folders that indicated:

Stage 1 - 91oct
Stage 1 - 93oct

etc etc..

Is the tune file in the 93 octane folder the one that i would use then with the 93 octane gas i put in? These tune files don't list a version number like the v4.03 tune files.. are they older?

I noticed on the v4.03 tunes the IAM was .70 and the IAM on the 93octane tune is 1.00. So i just wasn't sure if these 93 octane tunes were older and not updated.

Thanks for your help!!
John

v4 are universal, they start with 0.7 iam and if you put 93 oct it should raise to 1 after few pulls

The 91 and 93 are indicative of the fuel type. If you have 93 in your area, then use the folder that has 93 on it. That is precisely what is is referring to.

This is the correct answer. OFT responded to me and said i should be using the v4 tunes and they will adjust to the higher octane rating that i am using.

They are designed with 91 octane fuel from CA.

The 93 octane tunes i found from the master list are older tunes.

Hope this info helps any other noobs!

And thank you Tomm.brz as well!
