What tires?

Exactly what tires will an FR-S delivered in New England come with? Will I have to replace the stock tires with a set of RE-11 's or will it come with a good set of summer performance tires?

This.

They are low rolling resistance summer tires. Essentially high performance tires for a Prius, or economical tires for a Porsche. Since they are summer compound, you should pick up something for the winter. Honestly, if your budget is a little tight, I'd recommend getting a set of true winters for the stock rims (likely 205 width) later this fall, and then getting a good set of rims and tires for next summer.

Decisions

A set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports can be had for $598 from Tirerack,
after rebate, but that wastes the stock tires. And then possible track wheels and tires. I'll think about it later.
