Openroad in Port Moody. There's one other person that ordered Asphalt manual with standard audio. That one arrived Friday (is that you?) along with a blue and black. Mine has pioneer audio and is coming after the long weekend.

Hi there,
I am brand new to this forum so please try to tolerate my "dumb" questions. I ordered my red automatic from the dealer in Nanaimo, since Victoria Toyota doesn't carry them. Was hoping to get a Subaru but they don't come in red. I haven't ever dealt with detailers/customization so would love some suggestions on what would be a good idea to get done to my new car. I am supposed to get it in 10 days. I can hardly wait. Thanks. |

Hello everyone,
Lucked out and was able to pick up a white FRS last week from Jim Pattison Toyota downtown. 1000km down and the car is begging to be modded. |

For those of you who are just picking up this car, you in for a real treat! I've had mine for over 3 weeks now and I cannot tell you how awesome it really is.
I just finished my break in period on the weekend. I've got 1616 kms now on the clock. I just thought I would come and share my experiences so far with the break in. I advise all of you to follow the book! Keep the RPM's below 4K for the entire 1600 kms break in period. For the entire time during my break in, I noticed the engine getting louder and louder. Some say this was due to the fact that Subaru engines take a while to loosen up. I had a friend who bought a 2009 Subaru STI and he told me they take awhile before they make full power. If the noise is any indication with my engine, I would say that he is 100% correct. So, keep the RPM's below 4K. Even at 4K, you can still have a lot of fun. I've been driving this way for 3 weeks and never once has it been an issue. It just means you have to shift to like 4th before you can coast at the speed limits. You guys are in for a real treat!! Ben
