I wont argue with you over the travel because my brother doesn't remember if he measured the same points or not (he can be a major pain) but he was under it, either way my wear was in the middle of the slip joint and the cage has marks on it that that look like it bound against the slip joint if that makes sense I am trying to understand all of this.

it looks like it is under a hard angle that is what seems to be the cause but again I don't really know.

It's good to see more cf driveshafts being offered, should help price wise if there's competition/different options for people to pick up

no argument intended just reporting my findings...
My car has 10K miles at a 3" drop from stock my axles at this ride height are already running uphill to the wheel assembly.
7 of the 10K are trackday/roadracing miles
My front and rear tires rub on the upper fender liner in the rear at full compression as we have extended the stock travel 3" in front and 3.25 in the rear (limits of the upwards travel is the upper fender liner inner fender steel)

I am not lowered nearly as far as you, but I do not know what the up travel is but when it squatted in second it was done,

Ill throw a stock shaft in it save for upgrades and run the coil overs on hard when I drag race

I see you offer an aluminum version on ft86speedfactory, but not on your main site. I have an auto and was wondering If the MT and AT shafts the same? It doesn't state on there

As of right now we do not offer a aluminum version for this car. We also are in the middle of building a driveshaft for the auto transmissions.

I've heard of the benefits of one piece drive shafts. What I would like to know is why do so many car manufacturers run 2 piece drive shafts on automobiles?

NVH ....... Noise vibration harshness. If your more concerned about performance,...your less concerned about NVH.

Destroyed the bearing cage. I was drag racing felt like a good launch no wheel hop, and when I hit second it just let go.

Are there any CF MT shafts on the shelf at this time or is there still a few weeks lead time?
