[u2b]-zQFXB85dhQ[/u2b]

I went to Toyota USA in facebook and saw a video. At 11sec, you see will clay model of a 2 door coupe. What is it supposed to be? another concept?

I know. The sketch indicate the styling of the clay model, but I wonder if it's another concept?

hmmm it's obviously a coupe. Who knows when it was filmed though. I think it's a clay mock of the 86 but a long phased out one.

Designers go through a dozen different clay mock-ups, most are never seen by the outside.

I think (yes, I think) this must be FT-86 or new weapon from Toyota. Most car makers always tease their new concept or product in an ad like this one. tsk... tsk... Chevy...Chrysler...

I do have to say that looking at the vid this car looks a bit bigger than the 86 in comparison to the man standing next to it.. Perhaps its the more production ready model?

By the way he's scratching the back of his head might be an indication that he just messed up!

It looks too long to be a version of the FT-86. Mysterious red coupe could be anything.

yeah comparing the video there and the G-Sport / FT-86 concepts, people are much taller next to them vs the video's clay model.

side note : I liked the music they produced for that video.

i dont think the clay model shown is as big as you guys are making out.

1 of 3 things could be making the clay model seem bigger:

1. the camera angle(which its not because we can see its almost on level with the roof)

2. he could be sitting down

3. the model is lifted off the ground so he dosnt have to bend over(think ergonomics)

I think he either sat down or the clay model was lifted off the ground, but by looking at him, I think he was sitting down.
