Just to encourage some of you waiting... It was exactly like this back when Cobb was making headers for my 2002 impreza. It took a lot of time, tuning, trials etc. to get it right. Some people left and bought other options but in the end it was well worth the wait (if power was your gain... sound is subjective). I don't know about nameless firsthand but if these are anything like my EL headers on my 2002 you will be happy.
Sadly Cobb changed to an exclusive software/turbo tuning shop. I remember the "good old days" with lots of different packages, cams etc. I am still running good at 100k+ miles on my Cobb stage 2 (Cold air intake + engine back). I ordered a 2014 BRZ back in August so I'll be adding another car to play with soon enough (no ETAs yet though). |

Has anyone considered the possibility that the reason it is taking so long is because they really are having a hard time getting any decent gains from a header?
Maybe the Road and Track article is not as BS as some think? Maybe there just is not a whole lot to gain from a header and Nameless keeps tinkering with the design trying to find HP that may not be there to gain? |
