How spendy was the new dss CV? I recently ordered two of just the boots (with their weird metal rings) from the lads, and when they arrived I found my boot ripped because of an issue with the inner star race on the CV you replaced.

Interested in selling the old CV? I think the part that's bad in mine might be good on your old one.

$130ish? Shipped I am pretty sure. I had two different quotes and I can't find my invoice at the moment. I changed it out as mine was ran with a ripped boot and dead grease for longer than I care to admit, it was a contributing factor to my vibration, so I am going to assume it was worn out. I will clean it up and see if it might be worth sending out if you are still interested.

Exhaust is doing okay, but it needs some cleaning up and moving a few of the pipes. Might be able to just adjust the hangers a tad. I am going to have to figure out a new trans mount that allows more clearance for 3" pipe. I am not even sure the oval tubing will work with how tight everything is. I also need to raise the car a tad, scraped the oil pan a few times.

You can also see oil on the muffler from the transmission leak. Tried to find where it was coming from again yesterday. It's coming from the passenger side, but up far enough I can't see where.

The only part I need is the inner star race which is the bit that slides onto the axle shaft and retained by a circlip. The one I have has the splines chewed up and it won't engage fully onto the axle shaft so I can get the c clip on.

New headlights built over the weekend. Bodyshop cleaned and cleared the lens, and paint matched the inside. I also installed some Halos. I love how it came out.

Putting all the wiring sucked after cleaning up most of the wiring. Need to do it all over again at some point.

Paint match is pretty subtle. I was expecting it to pop out more, and wasn't sure I was going to like it. I am loving it so far.

I also raised the car 1/4 in the front. I think I am going to raise it up another 1/2 all around to make it nicer to drive with how low the exhaust is.

AWD Swap/parts are starting to be acquired. Going to be a long journey, I don't plan on starting it till possibly next winter if I can get my garage cleaned up and organized enough.

Not much of an update, but vibrations in the car have been getting worst. I have one starting at 45mph now, and the one at 2500 RPM is getting really bad. Still waiting for some good enough weather to get room made in the garage to get the engine/transmission out. Plan is to replace the oil pump, radiator, and possibly the clutch kit. If it looks alright, I'll have the current one balanced. Have the transmission gone through and checked to make sure the vibration isn't coming from the trans, as well as try and figure out the leak.

Wife bought me a 3d Printer for Christmas so I have been playing with that. Designed some 1 7/8" mockup parts to design my own header. Need to print a crap ton of them so I have enough to mock up the headers haha. Hopefully finish those up before spring time.

Had to change the design from what the rendering shows to what the blue parts are. Made the locating marks larger and easier to see. I also made the snap system a little easier to remove as I broke the original two trying to take them apart. Have those 4, printing another 8 currently. Should be done by the time I get off work.

I plan on making some fiberglass molds to make a better intake box and some covers for the grill. In the future I want to see if I can design some flares and print it in pieces to use as a mold.

Got the renderings of a new set of LS3 ITBs my old boss is making as well. Not sure it will fit under the hood, but we will just have to see.
