Read a couple pages back E85 and the CBPB as well as FI and CBPB don't perform well together

im hearing different things. im hearing that it shifts the power band so you dont have to rev the car out so much. not worried about FI as im not boosted and wont be. i will be upset though if its a negative to run e85 with the blocks. ill be calling crawford tomorrow to get more info

Installing the power blocks on an existing tune lost us about 10hp. after a retune we were able to get the power back up and make some good gains. While the dyno didnt say much in terms of big power, taking the car out on the road for the first time with the blocks installed told a different story. Car felt more responsive even on the bottom end and you can feel the gains from 5000-6500rpm. It felt like i gained more power than what the dyno suggested. Power does fall off a little after 7000 rpm thats okay with me. all in all i am happy i got the part installed and i love how the car responds now.

in case anyone was wondering, i dont remember the exact numbers of what the dyno numbers are but i believe the finals numbers after tune/catlessfrontpipe/blocks was 187hp and 168tq corrected.

got my BPB's installed yesterday as well as a flex fuel kit. the car feels amazing and was tuned perfect. i dont feel any loss anywhere in the powerband. it just keeps going. both well worth it IMO

i hit 190whp on E55 on a mustang dyno. cant wait to see what it is on E85 on a dyno jet lol

I just installed my power blocks last night. Here is a picture of them installed with the Cusco Strut Brace. Also for anyone interested the GrimmSpeed Pulley Cover fits as well although it's physically touching the intake tube so I think I'm going to put someone between them so it doesn't wear over time.
