Haha, I actually wasn't picturing it that way at first other than knowing it'd get a laugh considering how sexual it could've been taken (that was her wording, not mine!).

We had an alumni pilot fly in to our (quite small) airport for some recruiting thing once and of course the Navy wanted to show off so he got to arrive in his super hornet. So he does a few flyby's, lands and goes and does his thing. Really cool since I hadn't seen one in person yet at the time. But leaving was interesting because we don't have a particularly long runway. The procedure: load as little fuel as possible, line up on the runway, hit the afterburner to take off and and pop over to the international airport next door. So if anyone isn't aware, the F18E is loud AF just idling. But the sound of the afterburner lighting up was out of this world. I was also lucky enough to have a view of the other end of the runway, where two little jets of fire shot straight up in the clear night sky. Anyway, was a great experience. I like airplanes though, and I suppose it would get old if it happened every day. I never really got tired of hearing more normal planes coming and going. |

Ya the B-52 and C-5 were no more than 3,000 or 4,000 feet. I am only a couple of miles from the airport so they were still climbing. Heard them coming well before I could see them over the house though. The F-15s I saw before I heard and they headed pretty much straight up and were gone. The F-35 just sort of appeared and was gone without causing much of a ruckus at all.. The A-10 trailed along behind everybody sort of like "Hey guys wait for me".

Reminds me one time I was in Korea and wanted to get drunk off the local rice wine we stopped at a Korean BBQ joint but this was a back alley way sort of restaurant. The type you dont get instagram photos of, but it wasnt dirty, nor Russian ran so We thought it was as good as place as any, They where not prepared for Americans and between being drunk and hungry we fingered out what food we wanted and Im pretty sure the cheapest meat they had was dog. That was a fun evening, but later that night I went back to the hotel to finish out some cigars. Korea is amazing, it really awakens up at lik e9 pm and carried to the early morning. A friend of mine had peeled off to explore some more and found an indoor Karaoke and golf arena. But blacked out and somehow woke up next to a homeless woman.. Our buddy Tanner found him the next morning As I checked us in with work, and apparently dude was so hung over drunk he paid this homeless woman something like 100 bucks USD to make him good. and she shared what she had. ... So yeah What were we talking about? |

Now that I don't have any dental insurance (medicare doesn't give a shit about seniors teeth), I just get my teeth cleaned twice a year (the economy cleaning) and have something else done ONLY if a tooth starts hurting. They now say that "my teeth and gums look fine". Go figure that - humfrz |
