Windshield Missing Trim??

Hello Everyone!

I recently bought a used 2015 FRS
Where I live, we are having our monsoon season..late-ish.
I had to replace my wipers at the dealership where I got the car, and I noticed my Windshield looks weird ( this is my first car, and I wouldn't have noticed the issue during the inspection pre-purchase).

Anyway, I am wondering if the Windshield is missing a trim of some sort.
I have attached pictures.

++The Picture is my FRS Scion with no trim.

It looks as tho it had "glue" or some sort of adhesive where the trim would be. The only reason I ask is that I might make the dealership add a trim if possible. I feel if a rock hit the edge of the FRS, it would be trouble.

Not missing a thing, here's mine for reference. Not sure what all that white crap is, maybe wax or body filler dust...

I thought the same thing when I first bought my car but compared it to others and saw that it was normal.

It's not missing anything. That's how it comes. Just clean that white stuff out with a Q-tip.
