What header and tune did you have previously?

Ok, how much do you think you gained with the ace over a stock header, any idea?

I would say 40-60 whp, depending on the dyno, tune and fuel. Getting rid of the torque dip and picking up mid-range and low-end power was well worth it

@Calum @Jmonty is on a A/350. James, I hope I made the right call with the recommendation for the header. Any thoughts on the actual feel and power delivery?

I'm curious to see what @VitViper thought of the header; he does some crazy work.

What kind of gain would one see with one of these headers over the c30 JRSC kit with 91 octane. I'm guessing @Jmonty is running E85...? Those gains seem a little too good to be true otherwise.

I'm curious how this header would perform with the Cosworth supercharger.

From an otherwise 100% stock car (header, tune, flex only)

Quote:
Test notes:
- The torque dip is GONE. GONE GONE GONE. With an EL header.
- There is a gain of 10.8 lb/ft wtq, peak vs peak, on ACN 91
- There is a gain of 28.5 whp, peak vs peak, on ACN91
- There is a gain of 22 lb/ft wtq, peak vs peak, on E70 vs stock
- There is a gain of 39 whp, peak vs peak, on E70 vs stock

I'm asking about the a car running the JRSC c30 carb tune setup, vs the same setup with an ACE header and appropriate tune.

Totally realistic... the JRSC amplifies the output by 40-80% depending on the supporting mods...

The general concensus with the JRSC owners is that the Ace header really, REALLY fattens up the power band.

Remember, while the JRSC eliminates the torque dip, the dip is eliminated because the torque curve is being "tilted" counterclockwise. It's still there, but just covered up by all the gains from boost. Add the Ace header gains to this, and it becomes really, really meaty.

Come visit socal, and experience it in person on the CSG car.

That combo hasn't happened yet, but the Edelbrock loves it.

Gruppe-S vs Ace 4-2-1 A/350

Both cars are on Ethanol (E70?), JRSC, HBP. Same dyno, same tuner. CSG's BRZ overlaid onto the official JRSC HBP dyno.
