I own a Lotus so please please don't tell me this car will be hand built also.
Why would they say never ever a turbo or SC? Most sports cars nowadays are using smaller engines with turbo to get good fuel economy with the same performance. How can they be so sure that they won't have to go this route down the road?

^Agreed about why say 'never'. No need for factory turbo monster, but a small turbo could help the low torque numbers tremendously, and provide a suitable base car for 3rd parties without ripping the engine and starting over due to it's high compression.
It's sounds 'pure' but is really problematic. BTW Leeky ... you're the man... with so much excitment there, thanks for keeping us 'in the mix' with everyhting going on! |
