Installed the Whiteline transmission bushing(no pics sorry)
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLzMO6_ZNHk"]BRZ / 86 / FR-S Whiteline Positive Shift Kit - YouTube[/ame]

is it easy to install? yes very, but you need to ensure that you support the tranny

the included instructions are spot on, tho I took off the front bolts to my midpipe to gain access to the area where the bolts and the insert goes, made my life easier

about an hour using some power tools(recommended, them bolts tight)

used jack stands and ramps and a jack

it slips into the 'void' and reeally compliments the Perrin rear shifter bushing
its actually very small and makes a huge difference, props to whiteline

together these two make the tranny feel solid
thanks to both Vendors, money well spent

No, it's just a plastic rubber thingie that goes in that space to make the fit more snug.

I had mine put in while my catback was being installed. I regret not doing the Perrin Rear Shifter Bushing at the same time.

Will the Perrin fit with this in place?

Goes in a different place, but now I have to lift the car up and take everything apart to get to it if I want to install the Perrin now. I had the opportunity when the Catback was out, should've done it all then.

I've noticed a bit more vibration in the cabin after the Whiteline tranny bushing install, especially at startup and idle. I suspect this is to be expected due to the bushing stiffening up the drivetrain. Anyone else notice this?

I have not noticed this with mine. Had it on for about 2000 miles now.

I noticed it immediately. NVH goes up for sure.

However .. for how awesome the shifts feel now .. especially 1-2-3 ... who cares!
