Whag is the newest ROM supported / Idle Issues

What is the newest ROM supported for a 2013 FRS MT Canadian?

I had A01 and upgraded to B01, but I now have a rough idle that flucuates from 1100-600 and almost dies. It’s constant with no accessories on and even driving very very little throtte you can feel the car slightly bucking.

NOTE: I upgraded from A01 because it had another high idle issue while coming to a stop and some intermittent staling on warm start.

With all your mods it's unlikely its a base rom issue. Theirs no other factpry update beyond B01C for 2013 car

Its more likely going to be a tune issue or hardware issue. Could be a simple as port injector scaling or latency issue.

Try running 100% direct injection at very low rpm and loads instead of a mix of pi\di.

Yeah, I’m running 100% DI at idle, no apparent vacuum leaks, cleaned MAF.

I was thinking bad O2?

What are the symptoms of a failed DI seal?

The afr is way rich though oil temp is 80 c so its been runnog a while and you di injection time is zero. So its running entirly on port injectors at idle mayve you have pi\di scaling tables wrong. Or make sure your di compiter module is solidly groinded by pall its mounting bolts under bonnett.

Or your port injector scaling latenct is way off

Ok, I’ll check those and assuming you’re talking about A01, but any reason why B01 is so different at idle?

Yeah, all maps were transferred, so it’s really weird.

Btw, my A01 logs shows car initially starts up on PI and is fairly rich at 11afr, but then after 25secs it starts to level out and after 46secs it levels 14-15afr and runs off DI. Is that not fairly normal? Or would you do it differently?

Also, I noticed B01 goes into DI way later around 65secs and AFR is all over the place and never stabilizes.

The initial start ie cranking is always 100%PI.

then soon after start-up it switches to setting in cold/warm/hot pi/di ratio depending on coolant temp.

that is pretty well hard coded and not easily changed

Ok, good to know!

Also just to clarify, my A01 logs shows car initially starts up on PI and is fairly rich at 11afr, but then after 25secs it starts to level out and after 46secs it levels to 14-15afr and runs off DI. Is that not fairly normal?

have a look at the port injector scalar it should be something like 550cc/min to match bigger injectors
