It's just laughable that people in the United States bitch about $25,000. Like I've already said, entitlement.

It's all relative. We pay less for cars, gas, etc in general so when something costs more than we would like to pay, we express it. If we didn't make noise every time the price of a good went up or a politician proposed a new tax, we'd be paying European prices in no time.

It laughable that you are bitching about us. Nice that your government covers your tuition and medical expenses. Everything is relative my friend.

People with no knowledge of economics shouldn't speak about 'entitlement'. The market you have is a direct result of many factors, competition, number of options available, the size and scale of the market, and most importantly government intervention into the market. We're not paying too little, nor are we entitled. You're paying too much, likely because of excessive government regulation. And knowing Greece, it's assuredly that. The American market has a lot of factors going into it. Everybody wants to be here because it's a large affluent market, so prices will naturally be driven down with the competition. On top of that, the Japanese invasion starting in the 80s helped bring down prices substantially because the Japanese were more than willing to dump huge numbers of cheaper imports into the market in the 80s to build up a market share. Often for losses. They were heavily subsidized by gouging customers in their home market, and then dumped cars into ours. You should Youtube Lee Iacoca's 80s speech about the Japanese and his recent business visit. It'll teach you a lot.

Everybody? Strange you should say that because I don't want to be there. My parents do not either. I know of a few people who have no desire to be there too.

After watching that clip I got the impression Mr Iacoca was requesting more government intervention.

Low volume niche sports car costs more to ship, import, and distribute to a tiny population country?
