"Apparently" there is another 30 safe killerwasps available running 98 but I need injectors.

Hmmm, I may have found a Xmas present from me to the car.

Tomorrow is our local spanner club meet, mechanics and their cars, let loose on a 1/2 mile runway.

I've been invited but I've got my fingers crossed that my good deeds gets me on the airfield for some mad skids and some go to whoa.

Vent will be set to full atmo tomorrow, should be good for max whoosy noises, bangs and flames.

Pulse Racing hooked me up with a resonator for the airbox, and for no cost.

I cannot recommend these guys enough.

I've got a few spares that I will swap for booze in the Australian classifieds.

If I don't swap them soon they are hitting the recycling bin.

OEM full exhaust, all cats have been punched out.(all thats required for NA around 200hp ATW) 10 pack

Mishimoto silicone intake tube, sound tube delete. 6 pack

Solid diff support brace, free to good home

15mm spacers 5 x 100, 10 pack.

Or, all of these for 1 carton of JD & cola cans

Warm day today, 46° C = 115° F

Thrashing the car around today and the temps are fine.

OEM radiator, Forester heat exchanger.

The 86 and AVO setup isn't missing a beat.

I lost another wheel nut a while ago, decided to get a new set, I already had 2 different styles

Went full consumer, Project Mu floating, made from Chromium-molybdenium steel, guaranteed extra 10hp at the wheel brace.

I spent way more than I needed to, but they are top quality and I did get an epic deal from the boys at Just Jap.

OCD go on 🤯

Thats great to hear. Still debating whether to go with the Forester heat exchanger or not.

Just highway cruising and a few pulls on stock engine the temps quickly climb into the 120 deg range.

How long can you thrash till the temps rise? Lets say something like canyoning ?

Thanks.

Never had temps over 115°C

It gets to 115 within a few minutes though, but it just sits there.

This is on the street though so no 10/10 balls to the wall driving.

Do you still have the decatted header?

Also was wondering if something like that would work with an OFT tune. I am on a very tight budget

Epic external cleaning day.

Wash with Mothers car wash

Polished with Mothers polish

Glazed with...yeap, Mothers Glaze. (Jackie is awesome, all my prezzies are car wash related).

Then washed again.

Then the whole exterior was cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.

Then, for something different, I tried the Mothers CMX ceramic spray stuff, spray wipe, let dry, then buff, then, because waiting 24hrs is for chicks, I gave it a second coat 1 hour later....

I'll give it a 3rd coat tomorrow morning, and a 4th after lunch.

That should finish the $60 bottle of "stuff".

So far, after 2 quick coats, the paint is nice and deep, sadly I missed a few little scratches when polishing, meh...

So, hopefully, I will not need to do to much to clean the car for a year, spray on some wash, then gernie and dry.....hopefully....

We'll see.

In other news, turbo beanie is here, exhaust wrap isn't yet, plus need some gearbox oil.

Fun times ahead, jobs for tomorrow, jobs for next week.

In other, other news, f**k work, I've got car stuff to do...

Was hoping that I had everything I needed for this weekend, but so far only the beanie has turned up.

If the wrap comes on Monday I'll wrap up and fit the beanie on Tuesday.

Beanie looks well made, hopefully it fits, it is for an internal wastegate so fingers crossed.

Lots of work but a non productive day in the end.

Turbo beanie was a letdown.

Whilst it was for an internally gated turbo, and well constructed, it fit like arse on the internally gated AVO.

Attempted to wrap the header when it was on the car, stopped attempting when I made blood for the 3rd time.

The only real way to get it right would be to remove the header.

The header and turbo does have ceramic coating so.....f**k it......
