it seemed like such a cop-out to me. takes up the majority of the bed, and only a 200 mile range.

it would have been such a great display for them to have shown a heavily modded truck that could still carry 10,000 pounds...

a machinist shop once told me that nerf darts have a consistent maximum unmodified pressure of 60 psi, iirc.

in the same conversation, there was talk of the burst pressure of 2 liter plastic bottles, but i don't remember the figures anymore

Spent entirely too much time building these

I wanted to cheap out and make triangle braces and run OBS, but my roomate/homeowner said shed buy brackets for me and saw the Particle wood and wanted it cause it was better looking than OBS......

her wallet not mine

So I used 2x3's and these brackets and made some shelving that would fit two of her totes vertically and then have paint storage higher up!

one wall is done but I gotta tackle the back wall and the wall I park on.

I only plan on doing a 16 foot by 20 inch deep shelf on my side. the runs near the full length, but I also want some shorter (less deep) shelving for misc car stuff. and I gotta figure out the back wall on her side. I got my work bench but Im thinking about making another bench that way i can shove my shop vac, welding gear and band saw under it...

I wish i had a bigger garage to play with .\

and money

A female homeowner roommate? How did that come about (response optional). Why couldn't I ever find a situation like that -

Next question, why are there bars on the door leading from the garage to inside the house?

BTW, the shelves look nice -

Co worker at work had a lazy sack of shit who didnt today rent 9 outta 12 months. And this was around the time I was looking to move since my old roomates got orders out east. Legally I guess she needed another tenant to kick the other guy out. So I got in for a free month and offered to help fit the garage up with storage and work bench placing.

She's about 4 years younger than I am and the generational gap is apparent. She even tried her hand at drilling but kept throwing in screws sideways and once dropped the screw and punched a hole in the wall with my drill. She said this isn't for me and went to a coloring and wine l tasting? XD

I was up till 2 am finishing it up and cleaning the floor in the Mean time.

I also pay cash for rent.

As Bill Cosby said "once you let a girl in your bedroom, she's awfully hard to remove."

Besides after last night's performance. I felt more like a handyman and less like a roomate.

And not in the fun way
