Yes, but due to the fitment I'm wondering if anyone has ever had rubbing problems at the track.

Also curious as I bought these 18x9.5 +40 TE37SL. I am lowered on TRD Springs with my RS1 and have no idea what would fit without it rubbing. There are so many variables. Anyone who can recommend me a tire size would be really appreciated!

I have the ZE40 in 18x10 +40 with 275-35-18 square set up I've been running on track.
They Don't rub (anymore)... So I picked up a set of TE37SL in double pressed black in 18x9.5 +40 should be here in few days. Will be mounting 275-40-18 Nitto NT01s. Really looking forward to this set up for track only use. I'll post up pics when I get them mounted. |

Hey guys,
I just bought a set of TE37SL's 18x9.5+40 all around. I haven't put them on the car yet as I'm waiting to get coilovers and tyres. With the tyres, I'm deciding between either 245/35/18 all around or 255/35/18 all around. I'm planning to lower the car around 1 - 1.5 inches. Out of these two, which will provide better fitment once I get my coils? (I don't want any rubbing at all and I also don't wanna roll the front fenders). Oh yeah, I don't want too much of a stretch either as it is my daily drive. Sorry I'm new to the whole tyre fitment thing and I can't find a straight answer to which is better. Like I know 245/35 will definitely fit, the only thing that's kinda putting me off is if the rim sticks out a little too much. The 255/35 looks like a much better fit (As seen in @SpecPer's photos) but with the 255/35 I'm concerned that it will rub. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Oh yeah my car has the TRD side skirts, TRD front bumper & TRD rear bumper if that makes a difference Last edited by ImportPer4mance_; 01-12-2017 at 05:55 AM. |

I'm running a TE37SL in 18x9, +45,with a 265/30-18, and they barely clear the front fender lips and front corner lights, with a -1.5 camber. I would really like to go to a 10 inch wide wheel, and a 275, but i cant see how its going to fit under there. |

Just picked up a set of used TE37s in double pressed black. They've got a little bit of damage to get fixed, but I love the way they look so far. This is my DD.
Setup is as follows: 255/35/18 all around Tein Street Basis coilovers SPC Camber Bolts SPC Rear lower control arms with toe bushing -1.75 camber in the front -1.55 camber in the rear Might go lower and add a small spacer in the front cause I'm very close to rubbing.
