All LS series engines mount the same,....so an LS3 wouldn't be an issue any more than any other LS would be......as far as cylinder deactivation.....it probably has a different ecu.....but not sure why gas mileage would be a concern on a car this light,....just adjust your driving habits and I'm sure the milage would be pretty decent compared to a 4k pound Camaro......going from auto to manual is going to make this kit a little harder to be just a bolt on endeavor......but I'm sure it could be done.....as far as can-bus......anything the oem computer needs or does.....this unit will as well.

I'm really excited about this kit! I need to start saving up for it and an LS3.

This way you would not have to have a GM ECM, Subaru ECU, and a CAN translator/hack device in the car to run an LSX swap.
Where did you see this??

I scoured their website but couldn't find anything

can't even find a price. If they do sell them that cheap and allow for 86 CAN interface while managing a different engine the same way the M150 does I would be all over that!!

I got the info from a North American Emtron dealer who has direct contact with the creator of Emtron.

The direct injection related items are not support, but that doesn't matter for swaps.

I just bought an Emtron KV8 for use with my LS3 swap. They are less thank $3K USD.

Thanks, I might get in touch with Emtron Australia, see what they say. Just undecided at the moment. All I really need to get back is PS, A/C and tach. The rest I don't need

if this kit can somehow be wired in leaving the Subaru ecu active. id be in. I need the car to still be able to pass OBDII emissions checks every year to keep it road legal.

You guys shouldn't put too much focus on the cylinder deactivation. If you read up on the camaro forums, the real world mpg for both the L99 and LS3 is the same. I got about 17mpg on my SS with 30/70 highway/city driving. It should be much higher on a lighter platform.

I already have the LS3...I read the transmission was ordered with a custom input shaft. So is this transmission going to be included with the kit? Or will I need to order the transmission with the specs for the input shaft?

The trans can be ordered from just about any major Tremec dealer, or provided.

Is the Beast 100% complete yet, cf6mech? Its been a while, have they figured out the can bus out? Ive read the other thread on the DIY can bus, and it sort of seems like its still being worked on.
