Does anyone else's headrests creep upwards as they drive? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I'll set my headrests at the lowest point...then I'll drive, 50 maybe 100 miles...then I'll lean my head back and my headrest will be about 3 or 4 clicks up.

Anyone else?

Doesn't happen to me. Must be all that mad acceleration going on that throws you back into your seat

I don't think mine do this... Now I wonder.

I adjusted it once when the car was new but haven't touched it in the last 1 1/2 years and it feels like it's in the position I want it to be in, I use it all the time in stop & go traffic.

If I put mine all the way down, they will work their way up a notch or two. Only thing I can think of is there is not a notch to hold the low position. It doesn't take much to bump them back up to the first click...do it without knowing.

I noticed that when I get in or out of the car with a hoodie, it appears to push the headrest up. I have not noticed any movement from just driving.
